Insights Meet our new Escapee, Ellie!

It’s an Escape tradition that we ask our new recruits some fun but telling quickfire questions, so meet Ellie D’Cruze, our new Client Partner.

Last live concert 
Busted. As an avid fan when I was a child I couldn’t pass up the opportunity when they were doing a reunion tour! (And yes I still remember all the words to all the songs.)  
 

Dark or milk chocolate (white is just not an option sorry, ok maybe a white chocolate mouse)
Well I would say white chocolate… but I’d definitely have to say milk over dark.  
 

Favourite holiday destination
Paris. I worked as a tour guide out there for a few months and fell in love with it. Failing that, it would have to be Kyoto in Japan.  
 

Superhero power
Apparate/teleport - you can travel anywhere without the hassle of transport and reduce your carbon footprint at the same time; win-win!  
 

Pineapple on pizza?
Definitely not.
 

Most famous person you’ve met
Si King of the Hairy Bikers - I have the selfie to prove it! I took part in the memorial ride for Dave Myers and met Si at one of the stops en route. He was so lovely to talk to and came across as very genuine.
 

Favourite all-time movie
Billy Elliot.
 

Nickname as a kid
Smelly. Failing that, anything that rhymes with “Ellie” which is an awful lot, and sadly nothing positive!
 

Favourite junk food
Pizza and garlic bread.
 

Coffee - black or white?
I would pick tea all the way, but will take a weak white latte if I’m being sophisticated.

I played Quidditch for 3 years. I played Chaser and took part in a number of tournaments, including the British Quidditch Cup.
